Really Love These Faces

I love the messy faces.

I love the silly faces.

And the happy faces.

I even love the sad faces.

I love the mischievous smiles.

And even the posing for the camera so Mom will take pictures of me and not just sister faces.

New Obsession

I made white chocolate popcorn to a dessert party I went to.  It is so so so so so so so so good.

Snowy Adventures

We LOVE to play outside when we can, and the winter makes it a rare treat.

Brynn like being pushed around on Wesley's bike.  The bike has a seat belt on it so it's a little safer.

Climbing on the snow was a fun little adventure.

Wes wanted to keep playing after Brynn and I went inside so he had to go in the back.  Digging in snow is second only to digging in dirt.

My Birthday

We went to SLC for my birthday.  My mom took the kids while Bret and I went on a date.  We went to dinner and then shopping.  I noticed when we were done that I only got stuff for the kids.  It was fun to get out and enjoy time with Bret.

The kids had a fun time with my mom.

Maybe a little too much fun.

The next day we were going to visit more family, but then we ended up going on another date while my mom watch the kids again.  Date time is a little addicting.

After date time we fed the duck.  Brynn was fearless, and let the ducks eat right next to her feet.

Wesley preferred to keep a safe distance.

When we got home my neighbor brought over this amazing homemade cake.

This year I felt so much better then the the year before (not pregnant, recovering from c-section, or up all night with a newborn) that I actually feel younger.  Not sure if I'll still feel like that next year when I leave my 20's behind me.

Valentine's Day 2013

Here are a few of the Valentines we made.  I traced their cure little hands to make the I love you sign.

I painted hearts on their faces, but the new finger paint we have doesn't dry as fast as the last kind we had so they smeared.

Wes decided to paint his own heart on the other side.

He had a bunch of fun painting.

We picked up this yummy raspberry chocolate cake for a local bakery, and we surprised Daddy at work with it.

I tried making treasurebox cookies.  Next time I am going to cook the cookies in sheets and cut the shapes out after it baked so they will line up better and not have the ruff edges.  I filled Wesley's with candy hearts and sprinkles.

I made a couple little hearts for Brynn.

She was so serious while eating it.

Wes was pretty excited about the inside.

This big box arrived at our house.  I thought it was maybe a fun Valentine's day or birthday gift.  Turns out Bret just ordered air filters, but the Brynn enjoyed climbing on the box.

Last year Brynn wore the same little skirt, and I took pictures of the kids on the couch.  So I thought I would try the same thing again.  Brynn didn't think it was such a good idea.

In spite of a few grumpy girl pictures we still had a really fun day.
