September 2015

September is such a lovely month, even if there are some tears.
We did a preschool cookie party for Brynn with the two kids we were going to car pool with and a couple of her preschool aged friends.
Homemade pizza.  The kids only chose to have parmesan on theirs.
We went to Wesley's school fund raiser the trischool trot.  I wasn't planning on running, but Wes informed me I had no choice.  So I ran in my crappy shoes with my bag and big camera for a lap.  Bret got there after my first lap (Brynn had held him up), and he took my stuff so I only had to run in terrible shoes.

We have a little gap between the monster condos.

The kids love the Barbie Jeep.
This look didn't last long, but Bret can't help but to have when he shaves his beard.

My beautiful giant spider web.  I don't like spiders in my house, but I do love them in my yard.  They eat bad bugs.

The ground was so hard I used some water to try and soften it.  The kids went nuts for the mud pit.

More berry picking with neighbor friends.

She is so fancy.

Who wouldn't wear their triangle had grocery shopping?
Winter squash...Yummmmmmmmm!!!!

The apples from our tree are good, but Wes hasn't quite figured out that making apple juice is different then apple juice.
I finally figured out why I never had any blossoms.  Brynn was ripping all the buds off.  Finally I got a bloom at the end of September.

One day off of October is close enough to start wearing Halloween apparel.

The Super Blood Moon

We had some neighbor friends come over for treats and to watch the Super Blood Moon.  My cookies didn't turn out pretty, but they were tasty.  It was pretty disappointing that there was cloud cover.
So naturally we had to take pouty face pictures.
Finally with skies cleared and we could see the blood moon.  The eclipse was past it's prime, but it was still cool.
A painfully armature photo of the moon, but you can see the red so it's cool-ish.

Wesley 1st Lost Tooth

Wes lost his first tooth.  We're pretty sure he swallowed it because it disappeared during dinner, and it was not where to be found.
Not to worry.  The tooth fairy was happy with the note and still left him a dollar under his pillow.
