InstaSeptember
Brynn and Wes doing homework together (so grateful for a photo copier). Wes is excited for preschool to start tomorrow!
We're having fun playing with our train from The Train Shoppe. I want to get a few pieces every year for a family tradition. Train obsess kids combine with the cutest locally owned shop creates so much fun!
1st Day of Preschool 2014!
Brynn was sad she couldn't go to preschool with Wes. So we dressed her up and spent the afternoon at the library.
Brynn and I had fun yesterday picking out fancy chocolate after her haircut.
My ray of sunshine!
This protective big brother is helping his little sister not be too scared of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Star gazing
The dead butterfly was quite the attraction.
2 moms + 6 kids (ages 7 and under) = a simply wonderfully crazy and beautiful hike! (It's also difficult to get all 6 in a picture.)
My "scary witch of the west."
Too the opportunity of (finally) putting Brynn in a big girl bed to decorate her room a little more. It was made possible by spray paint, paper, and some help from neighbor friends.
A rainy walk after practicing Halloween make up. Wonderful Sunday together.
He's so excited to help Daddy with cub scouts.
Love love love love my sleeping angle.

The last of my tender crops before the frost tonight. I love this giant metal bowl from my grandma. I use it all the time, and it always reminds me of her. I wish I could share my veggies with her.
More September
I found this romper for hen we were kids at the end of summer. Byrnn loved it because she said it was a Dorthy dress, and she was obsessed with the Wizard of OZ.
Working on a quite book page.
A department had balloon animal and face painting for it's grand opening.
Another zoo trip. We love our season pass.
The kids worked hard on making a set to do a Wizard of OZ play. They were cute. The play was...um....amateur .
Practicing Halloween make-up.
The make-up got rained off.
A little bit of paint
My fixer upper. The one on the left is before and the right is after.
They turned out cute, but the paint came of on the walls and floor, too easy. The people at the paint store said it was high quality paint so I didn't need to sand or prime the chairs. I wish I would have. Live and learn.

Food Fun
He's a post I started a LONG time ago but never published. To say my sweet Wes is a picky eater is an understatement. We has him working with an occupational therapist and went to a food class when he was 2. Making food fun helps with his food anxieties...helps not solves, but we'll take what we can get.
It's a coconut tree. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
He made a car.
Painting with ranch dyed blue and lettuce for a paint brush.
The car he earned for trying new food.
Dinosaur eating a tree.
Train with train tracks
Brynn has no problems with food. She'll eat everything even things that aren't food.
Using truck utensils to move broccoli.
Gobble gobble.
Edible peanut butter play dough.
Butterfly
Watermelon and cookie cutters.
