Wesley woke up at 1:40am screaming a couple of nights ago. It took awhile with lots of soothing to calm him down, but as soon as I put him down he would scream again. I had Bret come help me but still no luck. Then I realized he may be teething (first he pulls his ears, then his nose runs, and then he is fussy). I had left my baby Tylenol in at my mom's last time I was there so I took the drive into town at 2:30am in a snow storm (too bad the grocery store right by us closes at midnight). I got back and gave him the Tylenol at 3:00, and let him play of 20 minutes while it kicked in. Then I put him to bed. He woke up at 4:00am (I had just barley been able to fall back a sleep). He was freaking out, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. He started pointing to what he wanted, we ended at the food cupboard. He ate a full meal, and snacked for an hour.

Since he went to sleep at 5:00am I was surprised that he woke up at 7:45am desperate to eat. I couldn't even change his diaper first. As he was eating his second breakfast I wondered, if he would double all his meals.

Well, two hours latter he ate another full meal.
And it went on until he ate 6 full meals. Wes ate 11 3/4 containers of baby food on top of oat meal, puffs, bread, crackers, and strawberries

He also couldn't sleep the whole night for the next few nights because he has to wake up and eat. At least he slowed down to 4 full meals the next few days.
I became more grateful for the ability to feed my child all the food he needs. I have never seen him so desperate for food before, and it really hit me how blessed I am to be able to give him whatever he needs.
Then we went over to my mom's that evening.
