I had never wanted to get married in the winter, but then it just happened

to be that time of year when Bret and I decided to tie the knot. I am happy about how my Bridals turned out, the white dress against the snow contrasted by my dark hair. Dave Roth, a professional photographer who just so happened to be married to my coworker, took my Bridals and Wedding Photos. (Side Note: buy the rights to your photos. It is worth the money.)
We decided that Little Cottonwood Canyon was the place to go. Bret's sister, Donna

, recommended having Bret there, and it proved to be great advice. My mom was there to help and support me (which she always does).
Anne, Bret's sister, let me borrow her beautiful wedding dress. Christie Nichols, my friend and my sister's best bud, made the cape that matches perfectly. Of course my sister was there helping to pick out the material and other such things.
The pictures were taken on December 15, 2006, it was a noticeably warm day because it was right before a storm (the warm before the storm).
