More September

Children make life so exciting.  New toothbrushes are something to celebrate.

We loved enjoying some nice weather.

September is such a beautiful month.

I made Brynn a bracelet out of sticks.  I have such good childhood memories.  It is wonderful to share things I loved as a kid with my kids.

We love story time!

My review mirror as I waited to pick Wes up from preschool.  I really live in such a beautiful place.

I know I take so many pictures of playtime, but the simple moments make my heart melt with joy.

She finally has enough hair to be messy.  I think bald babies as oh so cute, but I am excited that she is finally growing some hair.

So cuddly.

Wesley's friend had a Wild Krat's birthday party.  It was so cute and Wesley had so much fun.

We never get tired of swings.

Wes went to a friend's birthday party and got a glow stick.  Brynn really wanted it, but so did Wes.  Luckily, we had some of our own.  Somehow we ended up taking them in the bath.  It turned out really cool.

A Walk On a Simple Path

One Sunday after we went to spend a little time enjoying this beautiful world Heavenly Father made. 

The kids loved looking at everything and exploring.

We collected lots and lots of pretty leaves.

Pools of Tears

When Brynn cries the tears pool up in her eyes and make them  look extra blue.  I wasn't able to really capture it, but here is my attempt.  (She was crying because I wouldn't fill the watering can up.)

Train Crayons

I realized at the end of September that I had scheduled to host four events in the following six weeks, but nothing starting for two weeks.  I thought I would try and get a head start on it.  So we made the train shaped crayons for Wes and Brynn's combine birthday party.

Wes helped unwrap the crayons.  Then I put it in a tin can and melted it in in a pan with boiling water.  I put the melted wax in a chocolate mold.  The mold kind of changed colors so I am not going to use it for food, but we'll keep it for other projects.

It took a couple days to melt get all the colors done with only one mold, I was so excited with how they came out.

Helmet head

She loves pike helmets and riding in the bike trailer.  I don't think I will ever be able to get enough of her face.

Buckles are hours of fun.
