Ah the Lovely Month of July

I made Brynn a tutu dress for the 4th and then I had to take pictures.  I like the head band I used on the actual fourth better.  Still she is so cute.

I decided to put highlights in my hair.  I felt a little like I was being attacked by aliens.

My mom's reading glasses make Brynn's eyes look so big and funny.

I went to the mall an hour before any stores opened...oops.  The kids were super happy to just play on the toys.  My dad and step-mom met up with us later, and we had a lovely time shopping.

I love these lilies.  I love my yard.
The kids love to play with Daddy's legos, but I make them stay at the table.

One day he randomly wanted to wear his fish costume.  I really liked the way his cute little legs looked.

Wes pushed the big ball up to where the sprinkler was.  He makes my heart happy.

My heart.

Bret found a Big Wheel bike for a good price online and bought it just because he has good memories of it as a kid.  The kids really like it too.  They're little enough to fit on the ledge behind the seat.

She was being silly like the baby in the book.

She's crazy.

We were playing train using hangers to "ca-ttatch."  I love how you can tell he's making cute train noises.  I also love the how he always puts his shirt on backwards.

I love how big the magnify glass makes his face look.

This is how I found him one night when I went to check on him.

Wes was refusing to have his hair cut all summer.  He kept insisting he wanted it long like a girl's.  He was looking like such an orphan and my sister's wedding was coming up.  He refused to let Bret do it, but he agreed to go to a salon and have it cut scissors only.

No time to put on a swimsuit.

Primary parties at the church are the best.

I got so excited because I thought they were going to move the weedy dirt pile behind my house, but instead they just took a little dirt from the pile behind the pile.

Wes helping clean the windows.

The kids made a parade.

My brother is deployed, and I wanted to send him a care package.  We had just had pioneer day and I thought it would be fun to send him a little bit of home by choosing a beehive theme.

July was crazy fun!
