Frankenpumpkin

It is amazing how much fun it is to light things on fire...especially Jack-O-Lanterns. We sure had fun setting Frankenpumkin ablaze.
Look how happy they are:
I love the flames coming out of his eyes!
We brought the fire extinguish just in case, but luckily didn't need.
What he looked like afterward.
Be glad that you can't smell what he smelled like afterward.

Halloween 2009

We went to my Mom's house and carved pumpkins. I was so excited because I found a pumpkin shaped like Frankenstein's head and was so excited. I named him Frankenpumpkin. Bret cut off top and it was full of black mold. So we didn't clean it out and just cut the face out. We decided the best thing to do was to light it on fire with lighter fluid.
My sister's pumpkin was mold free.
Kylie didn't like touching the pumpkin guts because it stung the little cuts on her hand.
She was fine once she got some plastic gloves.
It is a tradition to draw what you want on paper before you put it on the pumpkin.
We are making monster faces to match out monster pumpkin.
I didn't get any good pictures of Alex's pumpkin, but it was a vampire and I really liked the way it turned out.
I love Halloween, but this year I haven't had a chance to do as many fun Halloween things because I have been busy with baby stuff (which is awesome so don't think I am complaining), but it was nice to have a fun Halloween day. And I think carving pumpkins is one of the funnest things.
