Wes has been able to climb out of his crib for while now. He is really fast and good at it, but still it was time for a toddler bed.
Here is is at nap time the day before he got the toddler bed.

My friend who brought us the bed also brought this doll for my niece. It turned out to be helpful because it got really excited for his bed. He played with the doll on both her bed and his bed.

Wes did a good job at nap time. I only had to go in once to put him back in bed. That night I checked on him, and found him like this. I think he got out to play with he truck, ended up falling asleep. I put him back in bed, and I haven't found him out of it since then.

The first couple of night he would turn upside down, but now he sleeps right side up.

I was worried with how the transition would be, and really it hasn't been too bad. I have to put him back in bed every once in awhile, but nothing to major.
Yesterday he was so cute. I could here him fussing for a few minutes so I went in. He was sitting on his bed pointing to his nose saying, "blow nose." I wiped it, and gave him a burp cloth in case he needed to wipe it again. Bret was off work, and Wes was worried that he would leave while he napped. He said with a concerned look on his face, "Daddy, brmm brmmm?" I told him Daddy wasn't going to go anywhere while he slept and would be home after Wes woke up. Then Wes went to sleep without any trouble.
