August Continues

I love these flowers so much.  My flowers bring me so much joy!

I love their twinkling eyes and mischievous expressions.

She insisted on putting her shorts on her head.  My funny little turkey.

Filling us the new bird feeder.  I love fall planting and I love the reduced prices at the nurseries at the end of summer.

My heart is so full.



Wes loves the nursery Tony's Grove.  He loves the fountains in particular.  One day we went to visit just for fun.  He spent the next few days playing "Tony's Grove."  He would set out fake flowers and say, "Welcome to Tony's Grove!" in the funniest voice.  He would also tell me I couldn't get certain flowers because they were "too expensive."

August was a hot and fun month!

Man vs Mud 2013

We had so much fun at Man Vs. Mud last year that we wanted to do it again.  I don't know if it was because we signed up for a different time this time or what, but the lines were huge.  It was so so so hot.

She was happy to chill and drink.

Finally we can start.

My mom watched the kids while we ran.

The kids had tons of fun playing in the dirt.

And here we are running.  Don't we live in a beautiful place?

I was going for tough in this picture, but it didn't really work out.

I don't think the guy on the right realized my mom wasn't trying to take a picture of him.  Funny photo bomb.

Then the kids got to play in the bubbles.  They LOVED it!
