Trick-or-treating at the Grocery Store

Our local grocery store has the best trick-or-treating with not only candy, but chocolate milk, string cheese, carrots, cookies, glow rings, and so on.

Wesley insisted on this glow-in-the-dark skeleton jacked to be under his spider web.  I think it's a little distracting, but he was so happy about it that I really didn't mind.

They had a spook ally that was dark with black lights.  I couldn't get a picture, but Wesley's costume looked so cool.  The white felt and the glow-in-the-dark jacked glowed different colors and his spider glowed neon orange.

Trick-or-Treating

Bret wasn't home and the kids were not in the mood for pictures.  So I did the best I could trying not to be to frustrated because the kids we were all in a mood.

My Pumpkin I carved while the kids painted the pumpkins.

And then a wonderful neighbor came and took all of our pictures together.

The cute group of neighbors we went trick-or-treating with.
We had three little girls that were two (or almost 2 in Brynn's case).  They were so funny trying to keep up with the big kids.  They rotated riding int he strollers and wagon, but they also waked quite a bit.  They were determined to keep up with the big kids.

Jack-or-lanterns are one of my favorite things.
We had candy counting then headed off to bed after a long and fun day.

Ward Halloween Party

I found it very hard to get pictures of Wes.  He just wanted to run around and play with his friends.  And while I am obsessed with snapping pictures (I like to think of it as capturing the moment) I don't want it to take away from their experiences.

Pig Tails

I tried pig tails on Brynn.  I LOVE it!  She looks so cute and big.

Painting Pumpkins

The kids painted their pumpkins (these are from one of my mom's sweet coworkers).  They also painted pictures of pumpkins.  I couldn't help but to take a ton of pictures of their cute expressions.

Wesley instead he had to dab his picture with a tissue like preschool teacher does to dry it.
I craved my pumpkin while they painted.  It took a LONG time, and it didn't turn out that well, but I tried a new type of pumpkin and new tricks.  All and all it was fun.

October Woctober

I love October, and when you mix it with these to fun kids it's extra wonderful.
Puzzles.
It was so nice they wanted to eat outside.  They found the perfect seats.

I love their little faces all wrapped in towels.
