Insta August

I was so sad when I couldn't find a chocolate flower this spring, but my beautiful neighbor with the same nerdy obsession found a nusery that carried them.  I am so excited not that it is blooming!  Thanks for the gift, Amy!

Be sure that your 2 year old is tall enough to ride rides before you tell her she can.  Otherwise you'll spend too much money for your kids to fish in a fishing pond.  I least they loved their prizes.  #countyfairlove

I'm really recovering well from a little surgery last week, but I still can't crouch down to sweep crumbs/dirt int to the dust pan.  Brynn found the pile and decided to help.  I really love being a mom.

Wes went to his 1st play today.  We had so much fun at the Wizard of Oz!

A Little More August

A tea party of their own design.

I had surgery the last week before the neighborhood kids went back to school.  Which is basically the end of summer for everyone.  It was a weird feeling to have it be fall of the sudden, you know because I was out of commission for a week or two.  But we had a wonderfully warm day once I was feeling a little better.  We were able get out the pool and water balloons one last time.  It was fun and a little relief from my time warp.

It didn't take long for the neighborhood kids to join in the fun,  I absolutely LOVE my neighborhood.  We have tons and tons of kids and such great families!

Pirate/Princess Birthday Party

We went to our neighbor's birthday party.  It was combined pirate princess party.  It was so cute, and the kids has SOO much fun!
