March

These two know how to get into trouble.

Wes is playing "cows."  He use to hide under blankets and pretend to be a cuddly tiger.  Now he is a cuddly cow.  Elephants have always been his favorite animal, but he informed me cows are also his favorite.

Brynn is big enough to help cook now.

Love sunsets

She's helping with the yard.

When Wes is sick it is so cute and sad.

Making colored shaving cream to paint the tub with.

Brynn went through a phase where she wore this skirt her Aunt Rachel made her nonstop.  She just put it over whatever she was wearing.  She had a had time when it had to be washed.

We read a book about a mermaid during story time.  So naturally the kids needed to dress up in their mermaid and fish costumes.

Blowing Bubbles

Brynn climbed up in the cupboard and got out nail polish.  I am shocked that he didn't get it anywhere but on her toes.  Decent paint job considering she is 2.

Brynn got a hold of my shoes.

Our neighbor came over to play and decided it would be fun to clean my house.  I like this game.

Last Snow

Black Eye

Wes fell into a door at the library.  Poor guy.  I took him in to see if he needed stitches.  The doctor was trying to pinching around the cut to see if it needed stitches or even could be stitched.  Wes was so sweet and patient.  He moved the doctor's hand to his cheek and told him to pinch there instead of his eye.

I always to thought it was cool when I got a black eye as a kid.  Now that I am a mom I don't think black eyes are so cool.

Pretending to be sad for his black eye picture.

But really he didn't stay sad long.  He was too busy playing.

The girl needed her picture, too.

Zion Trip Last and Headed Home

The sky was a brilliant blue the last day which made the red rock look even more beautiful.

I want to build a castle on this ledge.

It looked nice when I got dressed in capris, but the wind was quite chilly.  So I hiked with a blanket.

We drove four house straight to Salt Lake.  Yay for the kiddos.  We had dinner at my mom's.  We considered going to another grandparents house for a visit, but my mom lives close to the free way and the others don't.  So we took the option of not adding more time to our drive.

After we packed up and headed out.
It was a fun spontaneous trip.  It turned out pretty good for not being planned out.
