Brynn was getting sick once every 4 to 7 days for several weeks, but she would be totally fine in between. I ended up taking her to the doctor's. He gave her a prescription for an anti-nausea and said to watch her because it could be different thing. Luckily, it just went away. But we had some supper sad days during that time.

Easter Morning
Brynn threw up first thing Easter morning. Poor kid, but she still enjoyed going through her basket. Bret even let her have a little chocolate. I didn't feel comfortable taking her to church in case she was contagious, but I still out her Easter dress on her. Our Easter pictures turned out...uhhh...ummm....unique.
Brynn refused to take off the goggles she got in her basket.
Still I love these crazy Easter kids.

Blood Moon
Brynn was waking up a bunch at night with nightmares so I was already use to waking up in the middle of the night. I decided to take that skill and check out the blood moon. It was really cool to watch the eclipse for 10 minutes at 1:00am.
I had a hard time getting a good picture of it.
The last one isn't blurry, but it doesn't show how red the moon was.
On a positive note look how well you can see the stars from my front porch. I love my small light pollution-less town.

Easter Family Home Evening
We did our Easter Family Home Evening on the Sunday before Easter so we'd have an extra week to talk about the Atonement and Resurrection. (Bret works late most Mondays so we moved FHE to Sunday.)
We used the Easter lesson from the nursery manual. The nursery manual is so great for teaching small children.
We made Easter basket cupcakes. A tradition my parents started.
The kids enjoyed helping make the coconut green by shaking it.
They also enjoyed decorating their cupcakes.
But mostly they enjoyed eating the cupcakes.
I love teaching my children about Christ and His great gift.

Popcorn Construction Food Play
Wesley is much better with eating when I am on top of sensory and food play. Popcorn with the construction trucks was an easy and fun one. I just use my popcorn machine and put a bunch on the ground. I saved a bowl for Brynn who loves eating popcorn. Wes didn't eat the popcorn, but he didn't freak out about touching it either, so we'll call it a win.
