July rains are one of my favorite things in the whole world. I love them so much even when we aren't in drought conditions. I have really been digging all the rain we've had over the last few weeks.
Wes has enjoyed him some puddle jumping.
We were able to bust out some long sleeved clothes for our walks.
Bret put Wes on the table so he could watch construction while he ate lunch. He decided he didn't like it after a few minutes.
Wes spelled his name. It was backwards, but I was floored that he could do it. Then he added a 'q' to the end. So he's not there yet. That's okay he is only two, and we haven't started the spelling thing yet. Still not too bad. (ps If you don't have The Letter Factory you really should get it. It's under $10 and is an amazing teaching tool.)
I wanted to try on Brynn's new hair bow. Wes decided he needed to try on the other one.
I love love love the sunset.
We also enjoyed the sunshine.
The king of mud.
I washed the windows about 10 minutes before I took this picture. Big helper boy washing the windows with the a spray bottle and his hand. I think sliding glass windows are just impossible to keep clean.
After swimming we went to the mall, and the kids did great. If only I could always take my mom, sister, and niece shopping with us.
These little balls were so fun to play with. It was fun to watch them grow in this water. It was also fun to play with them. But they break easy into tiny hard to see pieces that made me nervous with Brynn.
Brynn has been working so hard at pushing herself up. She is so funny and proud of herself.
I love this age of babyhood.
These kids sure make life crazy and fun.
