April Showers

We spent quite a bit of time inside because of all the cold ran.  I tried to remind myself April showers bring May flowers.

Sleeping angel photo.

And then he wakes up and is so crazy.

Brynn developed a love of hats.  It doesn't matter whose.

I have to make sure to put the peanut butter away promptly and on a higher self now or this happens:

He also likes to make his own sandwiches.

We finally got some bar stools.  Wes loves it.

We lent this jumper to a friend, and when she brought it back Brynn rediscovered it.  She loves it.

Wes wanted to wear his rescue vehicle underwear over his rescue vehicle pj's.  I told him it was called UNDER-wear not OVER-wear.
The next day Wes told me he wanted to call it OVER-wear.

Wes loves to pull our blankets and sheets off our bed and play under them.  He is so cute even though it's a means my bed almost never stays made.

One day Wes decided to empty his closet and most his cubbies into a giant four foot tower of mess.
What is it with Wes and messes?  I made him help me clean up.  He didn't think that was as fun.

Wes has stopped taking naps on most days.  He was so tuckered out he fell asleep on the couch.  It's been a little bit of an adjustment for me...the loss of bedtime.

It's a chili spring, but we're making it work.

April...it may be chili, but at least it's Spring.

Brynn loves to climb in the strollers in the garage.
At least someone enjoys all the construction.

Conference Weekend

We took a nice little bike ride to the park a couple of miles from our house and had a picnic in between sessions of the LDS Gerneral Conference.  It was lovely.  I worried a little that we would get caught in the rain, but it was just cloudy.

Brynn really dislikes getting locked out of this room.

Wes and I colored some conference activities on Sunday.
I love listening to conference.  I truly believe the Lord speaks today through modern day profits.  Listening to eight hours of speeches over two days has become more of a balancing act with small children, but I still love it.  My favorite talk was "Lord, I Believe" by Jeffrey R. Holland.  What was your favorite?

Caught in the rain

Brynn and I were going on a little bike ride.  Our house is on a little .4 mile loop.  We did the loop a couple of time and the started heading up the main road.  It started to sprinkle so we turned around.  I was riding as fast as I could before the storm really hit.  It was actually kind of fun.  The ran started pounding just as we pulled safely into the garage.
The kids liked watching the rain from the garage.

Until Brynn decided she needed to be in it.
Wes joined her for a moment, but decided the rain wasn't for him.

Nothing like getting caught (but not too mcuh) in the rain to make up you feel alive.

Digging is Addicting

I left my nice camera at my dad's on Easter.  I was having serious withdrawals   I also couldn't find my point and shoot.  So I had a week of phone camera pictures.
Brynn is now big enough to join her brother in the dirt digging.
I love watching them play!
