Our Little Town Parade

I love our little town's parade.  May has the perfect weather.  It's close to my house.  We were going to miss it because the day before was May 10th and the reenactment of the Golden Spike.  Wes loved it last year and the Jupiter (the blue train).  We were going to head from there straight to the SLC to hang with our mothers.  But the night before Wes was sick and vomiting again.  We stayed home Friday, and he seemed fine.  So Saturday we went to the parade and then down to SLC.

The police cars and firetrucks that started the parade are Wesley's favorite.

Brynn was just interested in everything.

We saw the librarian on a float, and the kids really liked that because Miss Karen is amazing.  They each got a couple of books.

I am obsessed with cute little kid faces.

The tractors were a hit with my kids.

Brynn really liked the candy or can-yee.
Wes liked it too.

Our cute neighbor girls were in the parade.  The kids thought that was pretty cool.

The horses made Wes a little nervous.  He hid behind the stroller every time they came by.

Brynn would sit there holding out candy hoping someone would open it.  I let her have a little, but not as much as she wanted.

Sitting in the sun can make us sleepy.

Here's a sad random picture from when he was sick.  Don't worry he was better by the weekend.
